My daughter picked her own costume out this year, and, because she's got a strange duck obsession, she's being a duck (duckie to her). I think poultry is a good way to go when dressing your small child up as something. They are docile and taste good. They also lay eggs. Leopards are murderous carnivores. Although, the leopard costume is really cute.
I like the chicken outfit because its super cute and looks alot warmer. Then again, I live in Ontario and there is already some snow on the ground, so if snow isn't a concern then go with the leopard - she's such a cutie patootie! :)
