As I wrote a few weeks ago I started to brew my own beer. It was a lager that is suggested to sit in the bottle for 12 weeks before drinking. Obviously, 1 week is long enough for me. I opened it with the fear of God in me, honestly and completely expecting it to shoot up to the ceiling. But, it sounded and acted like a normal beer. The extra 11 week definitely will help in the clarity:
But, holy shit, it's actual good. Really good. I'm so excited. So excited I'm brewing anohter batch. Right now. It's almost 11pm and I've got about another hour and a half. uggh.. Good thing I have some beer to drink..

lol, that is so awesome! maybe you can start a small business!
Just one week? Goodness!
I'm surprised you waited at all. I can't wait like that... I don't even like heating up stuff in the microwave because a minute is TOO long.
Being the make-everything-from-scratch-at-home kind of girl, I'm dying to make my own beer now... A friend's dad has been doing it for year and he says nothing beats homemade beer. But maybe I should wait till I can legally drink it?
g - it's actually illegal to sell it without a license. Not buy, make or drink it, just sell it. odd.
f - I can't imagine it's illegal to buy hops or barely or water. Sounds perfectly ok to me.
I've wanted to make my own home brew for quite some time. I've never had a bad glass of home brew. The part about waiting all those weeks would be very difficult for me.

I'm not surprised it's good. I think you might be the next Sam Adams.
Wow that is awesome. The only beverage that I homebrewed was this mulled wine we created during winter or Christmas.
Btw, got here from Felisa's blog.
so have you thought about the name of your beer yet?
