Career change

Being the father of a little girl has gotten me into the parenting habit in which I'm not sure of how I'll be as a father to a son. I'm always kissing and hugging and cuddling with my daughter. Do I do the same with a son? I guess, but I just feel like it will be weird. Also having a daughter has taught me a lot about women and girls that I didn't know before. Such as how to style hair. I must say I'm pretty awesome at it...

still a little shaggy in the front though....

fixed!

Have you ever seen a more finely crafted hairstyle? (Or a girl so consumed with Mickey Mouse that she would let me mess with her like this?)

I think you get to love and cuddle little boys just as much. At least that's what we do!

um I feel like the biggest icky stalker, creepy lurker EVER (since I have been reading your blog since like forever. Don't ask how it started. I think I got linked to you from Madison's Favorite Son. Who has since stopped blogging. And may have more knowledge of my person than he should. At any rate, I just had to comment to tell you I have decided that I will not have children after seeing these photos of Kenslee. She is too beautiful and any offspring of mine would be far less superior, therefore, I will not be reproducing. Thanks Tim.

i can't give any kid advice as my only child is a cat. but he's a boy and i cuddle and squeeze him. maybe you do that with human kids, too. *shrugs*

We have eight grandchildren. The five grandsons are all huggers like the girls because they have always been hugged. The only person the boys don't hug is grandpa because he is all macho and stuff. You can see him envy the dads as their boys and girls all hug them.

Keep up the hugs for all your children always.

I agree with Tara. I almost don't want to have children because there's no way they will ever be as beautiful as Kenslee.

JQ and I squeeze all over G-man all the time. It won't be weird at all. I love how affectionate JQ is with G-man. Macho is so overated.

c - Yeah, I'm sure I will

t - wow, Madison's favortie son. Blast from the past. And thank you very much.

g - Kenslee gets all the hugging and squeezing in this house. The cat gets pushed off my head and shoulders every two minutes.

ga - funny. I remember my dad being macho and not huggy, but he's super huggy with his grandkids.

m - well thank you. I'm sure you and assface will make super beautiful kids.

p - yeah. I'm sure I won't be able to resist it.

Ha! You can always tell which girls had daddy helping them get ready!

As for the cuddles...My son was more cuddly than my daughter. However when it comes to his daddy he's all about the testosterone!

You totally have to do my hair next.

Dilf says: "What's wrong with that hair? It's a little lopsided, maybe. I think it's fine."

Also, I have two girls, but I have seen others with boys and they are just as affectionate with them, but the dads are more like, "C'mere, buddy!" and bear hug them and tousle their hair and such.

When babies, you cuddle and hug the same; a baby's a baby.

I agree with everyone else; cuddle away with your son. Love and affection is universal.

Love Kenslee's hair. I really do. She is so 80's chic. Kind of like Beverly from Howard the Duck!

Oh and I just realized that the duck link you sent me to was 3 years old. I still commented anyway.
