Schindler's Gas

Is anyone else all-consumed with the dropping gas prices? I work about 6 miles from home and pass three gas stations. Every day on the way into work and on the way home I get excited to see if the prices dropped again. They do almost every afternoon and I look down at my gas tank and see I don't need any and I think to myself, "I should just get it anyway, this HAS to be the bottom", or "I'll still be saving money if I only need 1 gallon to fill up, right?", or "Gas is cheaper than beer, I wonder if it would get me drunk." I've been doing this for a few weeks and I'm finally nearing empty and actually do need gas. Now, I find myself on the opposite site of the fence. I keep thinking, "I can save 30 more cents if I wait until tonight" , or "I don't need it yet, I can go one more day, just one more day", or "I wonder if these pants make me look fat".

It has become an obsession that I'm sure will end up with me running out of gas and walking into work in a few days.

I saw gas for $1.46 yesterday. With the 20¢ discount we get per gallon, I'll be paying $1.26 today.

That? Is Awesome.

Those leggings? Not so much.

I always get gas when I go to my parents' house. They live like 40 minutes southwest of me so it's always like 20 cents cheaper. Some places around here are still trying to trick people into paying over $2! Bastards, I say!

It is amazing how cheap gas is now. I, too, look at the prices and cannot believe my eyes. It cost me $20 to fill my car the other day when it was at 1/4 of a tank. In the summer it was over $40 to do that.

Makes me wish I had a barn where I could stock pile it cheap for when it goes up again. Maybe I can steal a tanker truck?

First, I want to know how Pixie gets a 20 cent/gallon discount on gas and how do I sign up for it.

Second, I don't drive that much so I don't have to fill up my tank very often (which is good, because it's huge). Today I had to fill up with gas and I did it for $26! The whole tank! In an SUV! Yea for low gas!

I never look at gas prices. Cause I'm a gazillionaire, muahahahaha. Yeah, unemployment causes me to make really lame jokes.

You know somewhere someone goober has a 100 gas cans filled with this cheap gas stored out behind his house. It's an explosion waiting to happen.

We get a discount through the grocery store we go to. For every $50 you spend at the store you get 20¢ off per gallon/fill up at the gas station.

You know women like men a little on the curvey side. :)

I ran out of gas the other day. Seriously. Because I'm like Kramer on Seinfeld when he wanted to see how far he could go on a single tank. I did make it into my neighborhood, though. My husband was pissed. "What if you'd had the kids in the car!"
