iMayor

Did you guys see all the nerds waiting in line for a new iPhone? I don't really blame them. It sounds awesome, and nerds generally don't have much better to do with thier time than wait in line for nerdy things. But, you know who shouldn't be in line? People that aren't nerds and mayors. Yes, mayors.

The mayor of Philadelphia is currently sitting in the rain, waiting for an iPhone. There's so much wrong with this that I don't know where to begin. First of all, I'm too lazy to look up his salary, but I'm pretty sure he's making a ton of money to sit on his ass and doing nothing outside right now... as compared to sitting on his ass and doing nothing inside. Second, the dude is a crook who has been bugged by the FBI. Are you telling me he can't pull some strings and get one on the down low? Third, does he not have anything better to do with his time, like oh, I don't know, be a mayor of a city who's murder rate is at an all time high? It's ridiculous. It makes me so angry. And jealous. I want one.

I first heard about this and remembered why I fucking hate John Street. What a sense of priorities and civic responsibility. Sure, Kensington's going to hell in a handbasket, but the mayor needs his iPhone.

What's an iPhone? I guess I'm not a nerd cause I have no idea.

I hate John Street, too, and I didn't know who he was until now.

I stood behind the Seattle mayor at Starbucks yesterday. He's fat. And he's pretty civic minded. He lives a mile away from me so I like to hang outside his house and make crank calls.

I want one too, but I don't want to pay for one. I don't have an iMayor's salary. But if I did, I sure as hell would hire someone to sit out in the rain for me. Say, a crackwhore. They supposedly come cheap.

I'm not a nerd either, but someone could call me one if they gave me a free iPhone...

Ha. Just looking at him, the patient look on his face and his crappy wet pants...and I know he is a loser. I hope some idiot drove past really fast and splashed muddy rainwater all over him and did that Nelson, "Ha-HA!" laugh at him.

On Friday I walked back to Port Authority from work and saw tons of people at the Apple Store on line for an IPhone. That is ridiculous that people would wait online for a phone.

Good to see the mayor is setting a good example for everyone!

Remember when iPods first came out? They were huge, only held 4 gigs, and cost $600. Now, you can get a 80 gig iPod for $350, and they are way thin. I'm going to wait a few generations on these so that they get better and hold more music. My whole reason for having an iPod is so I can have allof my music with me.

yes but if you hired a crackwhore like jules suggested, bitch would just run away and sell the phone for a ten dollar bag of crack! all crackwhores is stoopid. dayum
