Sex, boobs, and Mac and Cheese

Titso is a mere 6 days from due. We've decided that we want the baby to come this Wednesday. My b-day is Sept. 17th, her's is June 17th, so it would be cool if the baby was May 17th. (Everytime we watch Deal or No Deal we pick case 17. We'd be two rich bitches right now) So, for the next day and a half we're going to try every labor inducing wives' tale in the book. Tonight it's Mac and Cheese with Worcester sauce. Tomorrow is the never-fail labor inducing sex. 2 minutes of pleasure followed by 20 hours of pain. Got any other suggestions for me?

Pizza.

My mother had pizza for dinner the night she went into labor with all 3 of her children.

Just go with the sex. It's fast, it's reliable, it's the American Way.

My dad took my mom for a ride on a bumpy road in an his truck. It didn't work for him but you could try it anyway....or not.

Tim!

There's a pizza place here in Yardley called Vince's. The guy from Vince's was on Rosie O'Donnell once because they have this dish they serve that makes pregnant women go into labor, I swear! My friend even went there when she was pregnant and ordered it and had her baby THE NEXT DAY. That means you have to go there tonight.

I don't know what it's called and the friend that went there and had the baby isn't here today.

BUT they are really nice so you could probably call and ask them what dish it is. They should know what you're talking about, it's pretty well known around town.

Either that or drive an hour for dinner. :)

She called. The girl kinda laughed at her. Not in "you're an idiot" kinda way, but more like a "Oh my god, I can't believe you're calling about this" funny way. She said it's alfredo, but the waiter who was on Rosie claimed that it was a dance he did that put the women in labor.

Two things I've heard that are to be incredibly reliable short of being induced are Italian Food (and in Atlanta there is a place that is supposedly a birth inducing restaurant as well and it's some kind of Italian) and going for a long walk. It's supposed to drop the baby.

My wife had to be induced. Even chemical induction took her three days of being in labor to have the baby. Spicy food and sex are supposed to be sure-fire, but that kid will come when he/she is ready. My daughter also had to be taken out at the end with forceps. Those are the big salad spoons that they pull the baby out with. My wife's OBGYN was like some sort of forceps guru. My daughter was born with a little bruise on her face. Seriously, like I said, baby will come when ready.

I heard walking works, too. Marc said he's going to make Kate walk 2 miles a day from now until her due date.

Alfredo is kind of along the same lines as Mac & cheese if you think about it.

I've heard the walking thing too so maybe it's for reals.

Did she seriously call that number? That's hilarious.
